slappy skate press

it's good to see people helping with that rad skate scene i'm talking about. a few of the students at the UW have their own skate site. just brought to my attention today when i finally checked our e-mail. give their site a look over, see what ya think. link below!

wtf madison?

my buddy nick helser and i went downtown for a little sesh today. it's funny how things have changed around here, i don't see many people shredding out in the street anymore. what are you guys doing?! get off your asses, put the dope aside, drop the controller, GET OUT AND SKATE!

e-mail us at gnarberry@gmail.com
bring something to the table for your local skate scene, nothing's gonna happen if everyone's waiting for someone else to start something. PIONEER SOMETHING! i wanna see all of you starting your own video projects or little t-shirt companies, having tiny little skate jams at your favorite spot. let's start something, let's get it moving around here.

i don't really have anything else to say today.
PEACE, KEEP SHREDDING!

buzz on the street is

there is some talk of organizing routine skate jams. homies gather together just to shred whatever they can scrap up at a parking lot, your flat bar, little manny pad, kickers, whatever. we need to find a good location, with permission from the property supervisor. if you know of any schools with a good parking lot, or family business, that would be willing to put up with skaters using their lot once a month please bring it to our attention so we can negotiate with them.
e-mail gnarberry@gmail.com and help us find a place to jam.

if we can find a dope spot to cookout and shred we'll make some fun out of it, little competitions and prizes whatever. WE NEED A LOCATION! E-MAIL US!

uh-oh!

i understand most of you have probably given up on this site, or you've made the assumption that it's been abandoned! (oh no not abadoned, like that scary-ass warehouse in robo-cop).
FEAR NOT MY FRIENDS!
although posting has been INCREDIBLY slack. we're not done yet. i can't promise frequent updates, but know that i'm still looking out for things to bring to the page.
i've been backed up with work lately so it's been hard to film or shoot or get really anything done.

there is a video concept in the works, we'll hopefully be able to get underway with the project soon. let's get a dope film done by the first snowfall!
